Taco Verde and Salsa Bar

First, you can’t go wrong with Mexican food. This restaurant lives up to that expectation. My street tacos were perfect and at a decent price point. It doesn’t matter what day it is; every day is a great day for tacos!

The burrito was huge! The el pastor tacos are amazing. The carne asada plate was ok but the meat was not as tender or flavorful as yesterday. Once I tasted that el pastor meat it was a rap! The service is over the top and food is really good.

This place is amazing !!! The food is 10/10 the service as well! Everything is fresh and warm we got our food in under 20 minutes ! The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly reasonable prices for the portions of food. Definitely recommend 10/10 !!

You know those places you always pass by almost everyday, and you tell yourself or your family members, "I/we need to go try that place." Well, this was going on for a couple of years for this restaurant and it wasn't until recently, 9 Jul 2024, my family and I finally decided to eat here and we're glad we did. When we walked in, the restaurant didn't have anyone in the dining area; part of it could be due to the extreme temperatures outside and no one wanting to leave their house...or, perhaps most people don't really dine in at fast food/fast casual restaurants anymore. Regardless, it was a good change of pace to have some quiet time while eating at this restaurant.The employees were great; super fast and highly efficient! I don't know if the name is accurate, but our cashier, Carla (according to my receipt), was extremely friendly which I very much appreciated because it seems to be lacking these days from a lot of restaurant employees across the country. The menu here is simple which is great because you're not staring at the menu for a long duration trying to decide what to order. The food was amazing; we ordered the Carne Asada Bowl, Carne Asada Taco Special, Carne Asada Burrito, and Taco Pastor. I was a little skeptical of the size of my burrito at first because it seemed a bit smaller than most Mexican restaurants across the city; however, I was looking with my stomach again (I was starving), and at the end of the meal, I was thankful that the burrito wasn't any bigger than what was served. I know that this restaurant advertises a "Salsa Bar" but I didn't see one there. But to be fair, the restaurant offers several types of homemade salsa whenever you order your food.The restaurant was clean/well-maintained/organized. The price-to-quantity/quality was very reasonable and I especially respect this restaurant for their continuous support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! If you haven't been here before, I highly suggest you give it a try...I know for a fact that my family and/or I will be back in the near future because there were other items on their menu I wanted to try and some I want again. I strongly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I've been a loyal customer here for years, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely incredible, bursting with authentic flavors and prepared to perfection. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. While there can be a bit of a wait during busy times, it's a testament to how popular this place is, and trust me, the food is well worth it! This is hands-down one of the best Mexican restaurants around.

Pleasantly surprised by this neighborhood taco shop. Just recently opened during this pandemic and hope they make it through. Tacos are good size not cheaply filled. Cooked tender and moist with good flavors. The al pastor was the best to me. Good menu reasonably priced. Looking to go back and try other menu items. …

The street taco Al pastor was amazingly delicious and tender and juicy! The street taco chicken was a bit without flavor. The green salsa is a bit spicy (I love spicy food and for me it was NOT that spicy) and full of amazing cilantro and lime flavor. Gave my chicken street taco the kick that was needed in terms of flavor. The red salsa is not spicy but it was sweet in flavor. So, if you are into that you might enjoy it. The chicken nachos were fantastic! The perfect thing when you are doing a “cheat” day and want something that’s is worth while for a “cheat” day.
